I was born and raised in São Paulo, and also lived in Ribeirão Preto and Natal. In 2016, I left Brazil to pursue a career as a visual artist. Since then, I’ve studied in the USA, lived in Paris, Milan, and Australia, and am now based in Barcelona, where I’ve been actively exhibiting my work and engaging with the local art scene. Living abroad has given me first-hand experience of the challenges and joys of adapting to a new culture and language.
I have been teaching languages since 2002, both online and in person, in private lessons and group classes at language schools in Brazil. Since moving abroad, I’ve continued teaching students from different countries online. Teaching Portuguese is especially meaningful to me: language is not only about words, but also culture, social cues, and connection. Sharing this with students makes every class unique and rewarding.
My lessons are practical, interactive, and personalized to your goals. I focus on conversation and real-life contexts so you can speak Portuguese naturally and with confidence. We’ll work on grammar and vocabulary in a way that feels alive and connected to culture. Having lived abroad, I understand the challenges of learning and adapting to a new country, and I bring this empathy into my teaching. I aim to make classes enjoyable, effective, and inspiring.
