Hi! My name is Sara, I’m from Spain and Spanish is my native language. I’m currently studying environmental engineering in Madrid and I’m passionate about travelling and cultural exchange. And two random facts about me: I have a special love for donkeys and sweet potato fries! ¡Hola! Me llamo Sara, soy de España y el español es mi lengua materna. Estoy estudiando ingeniería ambiental en Madrid y me apasionan los viajes y el intercambio cultural. Y dos datos curiosos sobre mí: tengo un cariño especial por los burros ¡y por las batatas fritas! As a teacher, I focus on creating a friendly and motivating environment where students feel confident to speak. I have experience helping learners of different levels, especially with conversation practice. I try to be supportive, patient and I always try to explain things in a clear and simple way with examples. My lessons tend to be relaxed and focused on communication. I believe the best way to learn is by speaking as much as possible, so we will practice real-life conversations adapted to your level and interests. I use simple explanations, examples from daily life, and I always encourage questions. I adapt the class to what you need, from grammar tips to pronunciation, or just casual conversation!

Sara is a wonderful teacher. She adapts superbly well the level of the Spanish to suit my level. Sara is able to lead the conversation superbly well and is able to explain things really well when needed. She helps me progress in my Spanish and I am very thankful for the truly wonderful lessons.

I had my first lesson with Sara today, and really enjoyed it. I'm still new enough to speaking and Sara was able to put me at ease. She had the perfect amount of patience with me - allowing me the time to find the right word or conjugation if I needed an extra few seconds, and stepping in with a suggestion when it was clear I wasn't going to find the word. The class was very conversational and casual, but Sara allows you to get a lot of time speaking which is very valuable. She is calm, patient and encouraging and I enjoyed the class with her.
