Hi! I’m Melissa, a native Japanese speaker from Hyogo, now based in Canada. I love helping people feel confident and relaxed when speaking Japanese — whether it’s for daily life, travel, or business. I’ve worked as a marketing manager for over 7 years in both Japan and Canada, so I understand how important it is to adapt language to different situations and cultures. Outside of teaching, I enjoy visiting cafes, trying new foods, and exploring different cultures. I’m looking forward to chatting with you in Japanese!

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to polish your speaking skills, I’ll create a safe space for you to practice and grow.

We can talk about daily life, travel, or business situations, and I’ll teach you practical phrases you can use right away. I explain in English when needed (IELTS 7.0 / C1), so beginners are welcome. If you’re interested, I can also teach Kansai dialect for a unique touch!
