My name is Ivette del Rio, and I am Mexican. I live in Lisbon with my family. My husband and I have four children, each living in a different country. We also have three beautiful dogs: two Shih Tzus and one English Bulldog. My hobbies include learning languages, reading, traveling, and practicing yoga. I studied translation and interpreting in French, Spanish, and English, and I also studied finance. After finishing high school, I lived in Switzerland and France, and later in the United States, where I studied and worked. I have worked at the United Nations in New York City and at the World Bank in Mexico. Since around 1991, I have also taught English and French. teaching.

I have been teaching English and French since 1991, and throughout these years I have had the privilege of working with students of different ages, levels, and cultural backgrounds. Teaching is not just a profession for me, but a true passion. I began my teaching career in Mexico City almost 30 years ago with a language company. They sent me mostly to Banamex, a large and important bank, where I worked for several years. Later on, a German-Swiss gentleman asked me to teach him French, and I enjoyed those classes so much that I decided to become an independent teacher. My teaching style is dynamic, interactive, and student-centered. I believe that learning a language should never be boring. Instead, it should be an enjoyable and inspiring experience that motivates students to continue learning beyond the classroom. For that reason, I design lessons that combine structure with creativity, always adapting them to the needs and goals of each student. In my lessons, grammar and vocabulary are essential foundations, but I make sure they are presented in meaningful contexts. I introduce vocabulary from different subjects and common expressions for real-life situations, so students can use the language naturally and confidently. To reinforce grammar, I use clear
