Certified Cambridge Teacher with 8+ Years' Experience Hi! My name is James, and I'm an English and Irish English teacher currently based in Galicia, Spain. I’ve been teaching English online and in-person for several years. Lately, I’ve been focusing on writing articles about politics and culture; two topics I’m passionate about. I'm also an avid reader and love learning about philosophy. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing guitar, cooking, and spending time in nature.

I’ve taught learners of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced professionals, and I always adapt to your goals, whether it’s for work, travel, study, or conversation. My background includes working for platforms like the British Council and Education First, so I’m used to maintaining high teaching standards while keeping lessons engaging and personal.

I use a variety of materials including (but not limited to) visual aids, authentic texts, conversation prompts, and grammar practice, depending on your needs. I encourage students to speak as much as possible and to make mistakes as part of the learning process.
