I am a deeply engaged and present teacher who focuses on your specific language learning styles and goals to ensure you will make progress efficiently. I use a fully student-centered approach and use this as a guiding principle for my teaching. This means, our lessons will be completely adapted to you as an individual learner. There is no set curriculum that I have for every student, since every student is totally different! Instead, I will develop lesson plans based on your expressed goals for learning English and informed by your learning preferences. My second guiding principle is that if a lesson is enjoyable, it will be more effective. To achieve this, I invest in getting to know you, not just as a student, but as a whole person. We will use real-world material linked to your interests and goals so you can be sure it will be engaging.

Naturalist FellowDodge Nature Center - Saint Paul, 美国As a naturalist, I taught students from a variety of age groups and abilities – from preschoolers to adults – about the wonders of the natural world. I delivered lessons with a focus on interactive and student-centered activities to public elementary school students while designing and delivering public education programs for multi-age audiences. Often I presented lessons in Spanish and English to enhance understanding for students in mixed-language classes.
