I am a CELTA qualified English teacher with around 11 years of teaching experience and a French and Spanish degree.
My experience includes:
1) General English (Beginner to Advanced level)
2) Business English
3) IELTS Preparation Courses
4) University pre-sessional Academic English courses教学经验
I am a dedicated and patient teacher who puts a lot of effort into planning lessons. I help students to feel relaxed and comfortable during classes, so that they can practise without worrying about making mistakes. I listen carefully to students’ mistakes and design activities to help them to improve.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I plan my classes related to students’ individual interests and learning goals. I plan activities that are entertaining and give students plenty of speaking practice.
Here are just a few examples of activities that I plan for my students:
- Communicative activities based on specific grammar points (role-plays, personalised conversations, games etc)
- Business English role play activities (job interviews, presentations, negotiations, meetings)
- Listening and reading activities (using TED Talks, newspaper articles, songs)
- Topic based discussion lessons based on students’ interests
