Best language teacher I ever had, and I had many.

I have been taking lessons with Serena and from the the first classes I had in January until the classes I've taken recently after a long break I can make a firm statement ; Serena has been very consistent in her way of teaching, having a positive attitude and being professional. I have a busy schedule, hence I don't necessary have time to practice outside classes. Serena has been aware of my preferences in terms of learning and adapted to it ; I am having well paced and efficient lessons that allow me to not only be able to retain informations in one lesson but also to discover and learn a lot about chinese culture, which is very valuable and gives another dimension to learning this language. As a student and a tutor myself, I appreciate the fact that she always sent material, have a warm and comforting attitude and is proactive and very implicated in lessons,sometimes she would gives extra minutes of teaching to finish the lesson because she truly cares

My first lesson with Serena was very good and insightful for me. She works in a very structured way. Especially as an advanced learner of Chinese, I found the lesson better than expected.
