I'm a native English speaker from Toronto, Canada. I am trilingual - English, Spanish and Punjabi. I can also understand Urdu and Hindi, but I cannot speak them and I know a little bit of French. I have over 10 years of experience working in accounting in the corporate world. I took a break and moved abroad to Spain where I taught English and learnt Spanish. I have an intermediate level in Spanish and can hold a conversation. I understand the struggle to learn a new language and moving to a new country. I'm back in Canada now and I continue to teach English online. In my free time I like to go indoor climbing, read, watch TV, hike, travel, and board games.

I taught English online, privately, at an academy and at a a school. I have taught kids from 3-16 and I have worked with adults of all ages. I have experience working with all levels of English from complete beginner to advanced speakers. I have worked with individuals and with groups. I am a calm and kind person; I am very patient and I can adjust my speed of talking. Most of my students have complimented my neutral and clear accent. As a language learner myself, I understand how important it is to get lots of conversation practice. I believe it is a way to advance your level and gain confidence. Practice speaking even if you are making mistakes as long as people understand you.
