Hi there! I’m Louise, a French as a Foreign Language teacher with over seven years of experience, and I’m officially qualified to prepare and grade DELF and DALF exams. I love talking about culture in my classes and building a special connection with my students so they feel at ease. Besides teaching French, I’ve practiced yoga for 7 years and taught for 3, and I enjoy hiking and climbing volcanoes! I lived 8 years in the beautiful country of Guatemala, I speak fluently spanish and english. With 7 years of experience in teaching French, I’ve given lessons to students of all ages starting from 4 years old and at all levels. I’ve completed several training programs with CAVILAM to become a French teacher, followed by training to become an instructional designer, and with France Education International to be an examiner and grader, and later a trainer for DELF and DALF examiners. During your first lesson, we’ll discuss your goals and interests so I can tailor my teaching approach to your needs and create an appropriate course plan. I like my classes to be interactive, fun, and rooted in culture. Through a variety of activities, authentic exchanges, and materials suited to your level, I’ll help you progress while discovering the richness and diversity of Francophone cultures.
