I'm originally from the US; today, I mostly live outside the USA and often change country, city and hotel/Airbnb. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish and hold an AA degree in Liberal Arts. I'm a language fanatic and learning Mandarin and Malay. My interest include collecting books and reading; international music, film and photography; also into econ, AI and SEO. My long term goal is to be a writer; I've written a few short stories, poems, and a short novel. My lessons are relaxed and focused on the spontaneous needs of the student and researching online to help students find digital resources they may need. I've been teaching on italki for about 3 years. In previous times, I worked in retail, security, and film/TV (as a movie extra) having no intention of teaching. I've recently completed a 120 hour TESOL course and would like teach in person overseas. I'm not a standard teacher; I see myself as writer, language operator. My most popular lesson is the conversational lesson, which is usually informal; nonetheless, I feel equally at home editing writing. During lessons, I usually correct the student's grammar by typing instead of verbally interrupting. I also post links to articles and videos relating to the topics being discussed. I find that students are most interested in speaking about American society and foreign travels. Please be advised, as I frequently travel my teaching settings/environment will likely be in a Airbnb or hotel and so things can be unpredictable.我的教学资料
