I help students *speak confidently*—whether for exams, work, or daily life. My lessons blend your goals with fun, real-world topics (yes, even food—I’m a cook who avoids cleaning!).
When not teaching, I’m exploring new flavours, snapping photos, or debating the best football team. Let’s make English feel like a chat over coffee, not a classroom!
All my lessons are prepared with the student's needs in mind. If you book a trial lesson with me, all students are asked "why" they are or want to learn English. This is done so I can structure the lesson around the student's needs.
Over eleven years ago, I changed my career to become a teacher. I worked as a garden designer/horticulturist for over ten years until I felt I wasn't learning anymore and took the jump into teaching. Being a teacher was always something I was interested in, so I started to work part-time helping students prepare for IELTS exams. Now I work as a full-time English teacher, working both online and in a classroom. I am a very open-minded person and I am pleased to discuss any topics that you are interested in.

It was interesting to have a class with Mr Oliver. I like his attitude and methodology for the lesson. I got some new knoledge about English speaking during the lesson. Aboslutely recommend this teacher to everyone, who would like to improve his English speaking ability.
