Hi there! 👋 I’m Yana, a Ukrainian-Canadian fluency coach with 7+ years of specializing in confident, natural communication for professionals and youth (TESOL-certified, IELTS 8.5) and teaching learners from different cultures to gain useful speaking, writing, and reading skills to build a better understanding of English; whether for exams, careers, or daily life.
We’ll focus on real conversations, nuanced expressions, and conquering your unique challenges. Let’s make English feel like a language that you can be fully yourself in!教学经验
My approach to teaching is student-centered, interactive, and aimed at improving overall understanding and building a student's capacity for generating spontaneous speech in English.
I started teaching as a volunteer, and eventually became a certified TESOL teacher in 2016. I started my career in Taiwan, teaching ESL to children who were new to English. Later, I started specializing in writing classes and math tutoring to ESL students looking to attend university abroad.
