My name is Irene, and I am a teacher, PhD candidate, and musician from Italy with over eight years of experience as an Italian tutor. I have taught people worldwide with varying proficiency levels in Italian, employing methods such as dialogue, grammar exercises, reading articles, writing, and pronunciation exercises. My lessons are open to adult students with basic to upper-intermediate levels of Italian proficiency.教学经验
Speaking with people from all over the world, it was easy to find out how many people are interested in my native language: Italian. So why not try to help people pursue their dreams? This is the reason why I became an Italian teacher. After more than five years of experience, I can say that it's one of the best jobs in the world. Before the lesson, I'll be happy to read a short introduction from you: tell me your level of Italian, what your goals are, and if you have any specific requests for our lesson. This way, we ensure that we make the most of our lesson time. Our online lessons will be personalized. We will certainly focus on speaking and pronunciation, but I can also help you write or edit high school, university, or professional papers. During our lessons, we can discuss topics of your choice, write (offline or online), do grammar exercises, or simply chat. Irene is a treasure. Organized, patient, supportive--and she speaks so beautifully. What a musical speaking voice on which to model your accent. In our house, she teaches both a seven year old and a forty-two year old student with excellence and grace.

Splendido, come sempre! Grazie mille, Irene. Abbiamo cantato "Volare" insieme, e Irene gave me some tips on diction. Will work on those consonants! :) We also talked about different accents in Italy and many other things, and Irene explained some tricky use of the congiuntivo. Looking forward to the next lesson!

Irene is able to explain the subtle distinctions between what I am trying to say and what I am actually saying. We were speaking in Italian, but her excellent understanding of English meant she knew how to explain in Italian in a way that would make sense to me. Today we went over commands I want to give others.
