Tutor Irene

Irene is a treasure. Organized, patient, supportive--and she speaks so beautifully. What a musical speaking voice on which to model your accent. In our house, she teaches both a seven year old and a forty-two year old student with excellence and grace.

Irene is able to explain the subtle distinctions between what I am trying to say and what I am actually saying. We were speaking in Italian, but her excellent understanding of English meant she knew how to explain in Italian in a way that would make sense to me. Today we went over commands I want to give others.

Splendido, come sempre! Grazie mille, Irene. Abbiamo cantato "Volare" insieme, e Irene gave me some tips on diction. Will work on those consonants! :) We also talked about different accents in Italy and many other things, and Irene explained some tricky use of the congiuntivo. Looking forward to the next lesson!

Irene è molto simpaticaaaaaaa! Lo svolgimento della lezione è molto piacevole e rilassato. Anche se il mio italiano non è fluente, riesce a capire velocemente cosa intendo e a correggere i miei problemi.

I just had a highly enjoyable first lesson with Irene. She is super friendly and an excellent teacher. The conversation with her, although my level is that of a beginner yet, was highly entertaining, witty and educative. I can recommend her to everyone who wants to learn, improve and practice italian!!!
