Hello! My name is Andy, and I’m German tutor from Kenya. I’m a friendly, patient, and open-minded person who enjoys helping others learn and grow.
I’m very interested in languages and communication, and I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. Teaching allows me to connect with others while helping them build confidence and improve their skills step by step.
In my free time, I enjoy swimming, acting, and dancing. I especially like listening to podcasts because it helps me relax and stay motivated. I also enjoy talking about everyday life, culture, travel, and personal development, which often become great conversation topics during lessons.教学经验
I’m passionate about helping students improve their speaking skills and gain confidence using the language in real-life situations.
I understand that learning a language can feel stressful, especially when it comes to speaking. Many students know a lot of vocabulary and grammar but feel nervous, shy, or afraid of making mistakes. I’ve been there too, so my goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and relaxed learning environment where you can speak freely and improve step by step.

120 hour International TEFL course - Teacher record - 2025I acquired my TEFL certificate after successfully completing a 120-hour TEFL training program that focused on the fundamentals of teaching English as a foreign language. The course covered essential areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, teaching grammar and vocabulary, pronunciation, and effective methods for teaching speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. It also emphasised student-centred learning and practical teaching techniques for learners of different levels.
