Italian tutor focused on natural conversation, real-life language, and Italian culture. Ciao!
I’m Silvia, an Italian tutor currently living in the US. I help learners speak more natural, everyday Italian through relaxed conversation and practical, real-life language use.
If you can understand some Italian but still struggle to speak with confidence, this is exactly what my lessons are for. We’ll focus on helping you actually use the language, not just study it.
Having lived in English-speaking countries, I know what it feels like to know “a bit” of a language but hesitate when it’s time to speak. That’s why my lessons are calm, patient, and focused on helping you build confidence step by step.
One thing I really care about is making lessons feel personal and engaging. I shape each class around your interests, whether that’s travel, food, work, culture, or anything else you enjoy, so that learning Italian feels useful, relevant, and genuinely fun for you.
I also love bringing in the cultural side of Italian: how people really talk, common expressions, humor, and everyday communication that you won’t always find in textbooks.
My background is in science and healthcare, so I can also support students who need Italian for medical or scientific contexts.
In our lessons, you can expect lots of speaking practice, gentle corrections, and explanations when needed: always at your pace, and always focused on helping you actually use Italian in real situations.
