こんにちは! I'm NANA.
🌸I’m a native Japanese born and raised in Japan.
🌎Currently living in California, USA. I’ve also lived in Germany, so I understand the challenges and fun of learning a new language and culture.
👩💼I previously worked as a secretary at a patent law firm in Munich and at an embassy in Tokyo, where I gained experience in professional communication and international environments.
📙In my lessons, I focus on practical Japanese and creating a relaxed, supportive atmosphere using Genki textbooks and workbooks.
Whether you want to improve conversation, learn everyday expressions, or practice Japanese, I’m happy to help😊
My teaching style is student-centered 👩🏫✨. During the lesson, I encourage you to speak as much Japanese as possible 🗣️🇯🇵 while I support you with helpful corrections, clear explanations, and practical learning tips.
Through active practice and clear guidance, you will gradually build confidence and improve your communication skills 💪✨.

Nana is very clear and helpful at explaining. She meets me where I’m at in my learning and tries to speak in Japanese most of the time at my level. Her presentation/teaching slides are very clear and helpful as well. She is flexible and adjusts to what works well for me.
