I am Sarah, a native English speaker from Ireland, based in Dublin. I speak French and Danish fluently, and I am also learning Spanish and Icelandic, so I understand the challenge of building real fluency in another language.
I have lived in six countries and worked across diplomacy, technology and consulting. I represented Ireland as a diplomat in roles linked to the EU, the UN and the US. I also worked in technology, including with Ryanair, and in consulting work with multinational pharmaceutical companies.
I now run my own consulting company, where I also coach professionals on public speaking, presentations, interviews and high-stakes communication.教学经验
My teaching style is direct, supportive and structured. I start by understanding your goals, then shape lessons around what you actually need. You can expect plenty of speaking time, active participation, and a setting where making mistakes is treated as a normal part of learning.
As a language learner myself, I understand how easy it is to get stuck chasing perfect grammar or pronunciation. My priority is to help you speak more, get comfortable using the language, and build steady progress.
I also use a high level of English in lessons where appropriate, so that students become more comfortable discussing complex ideas with native speakers or high-stakes international environments. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
We will use a mix of practical speaking activities, including role plays, guided conversation, short texts and reading. I also help you sound more like yourself in English by working on natural wording, tone and the way you express your ideas.
I give ongoing feedback throughout the lesson, with the aim of improving both fluency and agility. That includes helping you respond more comfortably to spontaneous interruptions, questions, or opposing views, which are common in professional settings.我的教学资料
