Hi there!
My name is Audrey, and I would be so happy if I could help you achieve your goals towards learning English.
I speak both English and German fluently, am studying Japanese and Korean, and dabble in many other languages too.
For my day job, I work in the Film & TV industry in the UK, and my hobbies include baking, climbing, travelling, reading, and, of course, learning (and talking about) languages.
Because I love learning other languages myself, I understand what it feels like to be a student, so I always try to be patient with my students. My aim is to push you just enough that you are learning something new, but make it engaging and relevant to you and your goals.
I also have a Level 5 168 hours Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate, which has prepared me to help my students improve their English efficiently.
I aim to make my lessons unique for every student.
What that means is having a discussion about your current level, your short term and long term goals, study materials you enjoy and study materials that are effective for you. From there, I can better put together lessons for you that match what you're looking for.
This can be in support of any group lessons or school subjects you may already attend, or as a way for you to practice speaking to improve your comfort. It could also be to help in your preparation for an exam, or even to help you read a book you're struggling with.
