I am a teacher with a bachelors in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, which sets me apart from casual tutors you find on italki. Also, I’ve taught over 6000 lessons on italki, which makes me one of the most experienced teachers on the platform. I have had many teachers on Italki (and in real life), and Audrey Ma is one of the best. She always comes prepared with topics, materials, and even textbooks. She makes herself available outside of class to go over my homework or answer questions. During class, she is warm, engaging, and so so helpful in explaining Chinese grammar and vocabulary. Our lessons fly by because they are so fun! I can’t recommend Audrey as a teacher more, and I love learning Chinese with her! I have already studied with her for 3 years and hope to for many more :)

My 9 year old son has been taking Chinese lessons with Teacher Ma for about a month now and his vocabulary is growing really fast. She is a very patient teacher and makes sure to use vocabulary that is relevant and useful. She is also very good at making sure that his pronounciation is correct and knows how to keep him on task. I am confident that he can acquire great language skills this way.

Audrey Ma is an exceptional Chinese teacher who truly stands out for her professionalism, warmth, and dedication.
