5年专业老师经验 Hi, I am Shirley. I live in Guangzhou. Mandarin and Cantonese are my daily languages. I also speak English well.
I hold a bachelor's degree, majoring Business English. I passed CET-4, CET-6, MET-4, and MET-8 during my university life. After graduation, I worked in a business company which specialized in overseas investment. This experience substantially broadened my international perspective. I enjoyed excellent Chinese cuisine in Vancouver's Chinese community. And I once stood at 80+/F of a high-rise in downtown New York, overlooking Central Park and gazing out at the Empire State Building.
I worked as a teacher since 2021 and hold a certificate of English teacher in primary school. I am good at helping kids learn English from level 0. Sometimes I teach Chinese, like Pinyin and Writing. I have carefully studied the YCT and HSK textbooks and the past exam papers in recent decade, and I find them far simpler than Chinese textbooks used in China. I am confident that I am fully capable of teaching foreign children Chinese and helping them pass the YCT/HSK tests.

我本科学历，大学学的英语专业，大学期间通过了CET-4, CET-6, MET-4, MET-8，毕业后在一家公司做海外投资，这份工作大大增加了我的国际视野，我在温哥华的华人社区吃过很棒的中餐，也曾站在纽约市区80几层的高楼，俯瞰中央公园，远眺帝国大厦。我2021年开始做老师，有小学英语老师教师资格证，尤其擅长给零基础的小孩做英语启蒙，我也带过小学语文课，擅长教拼音和作文。我仔细研究了YCT和HSK的课本和最近十年的YCT/HSK考试真题，比中国的语文课本简单太多了，我觉得自己完全能胜任教外国小朋友学习中文并通过YCT/HSK考级。
