I have loved every single Spanish lesson with Maria. She is an amazing conversationalist -- I look forward not only to practicing my Spanish with her, but to having engaging and meaningful conversations about the world. Talking about philosophy, politics, society, etc., has really taken my Spanish to the next level. Maria always corrects my grammar and offers interesting videos and essays as homework based on my interests. Highly recommend!

Maria is an incredible teacher. I have had regular lessons with her for a number of months and my Spanish has improved greatly. Her accent is very clear both in English and Spanish. Her English ability is well above how she rates herself on Italki, so if you need help understanding things she can break it down in English. She is also patient and cares deeply about helping her students succeed. Her love of language is evident in each lesson. She is always prepared for lessons and has extra materials on hand if you want some extra help. I would strongly recommend Maria as a teacher for anyone.
