Vinicius is easily the best teacher I've ever met on Italki. He made everything so easy to understand!! His methodology is flawless, he has a friendly personality, and he's an expert at what he does. I'm so excited to learn Portuguese with him! With his help, I'm sure I'll reach a conversational level in no time!

In general, we begin our "aula" with Vinícius Florêncio with a conversation in Portuguese about how our week (and his week) went as well as what our plans are for the week to come. Then we review either a video or a reading assignment that our professor, Vini, has sent us a few days prior to the actual class. Vini asks us questions, not only to test our comprehension of the subject matter, but to be able to express our opinions in Portuguese about the topic being discussed. Vini then provides a transcript of the chat, which often contains Portuguese vocabulary words and idiomatic expressions that are new to us. As homework, he sends us questions about the video or reading material we discussed in the class to which we provide written responses that Vini will later read and correct for vocabulary, grammar, and style. We highly recommend Vini Florêncio for students of Portuguese at the intermediate to advanced learning levels.

After 100+ lessons with Vinícius, I have enjoyed every class with him. He is patient and supportive when learning new grammar and pronunciation. Every lesson is fun, and I leave each lesson with new vocabulary to study. I recommend having a lesson with Vinícius!
