Hello, everyone! My name is Tracy, and I am a native Chinese speaker. I was born in Shanghai, China, a very beautiful and modern city. I have been teaching Chinese for eight years. My students are 6 to 62 years old! In my leisure time, I like travelling, singing, and enjoying delicious foods with my friends. I am also a dog person.
I believe that teaching should be structured to meet the students’ goals and expectations. Based on my students’ needs, I develop lessons to build their linguistic and communicative competence and to equip them to participate in Chinese culture. I like my lessons to be dynamic, properly paced, and with a sense of fun.
I use a variety of teaching methods tailored to each student’s strengths and needs. Adults will start with vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure, progressing to conversation and reading. Lessons also include cultural topics to deepen your understanding of Chinese culture. No matter your level or goals, you’ll receive customized materials to suit your needs.
For children, I design fun, interactive lessons using age-appropriate materials like games, songs, and stories. My Early Childhood Education background allows me to adapt lessons to their developmental stages, helping them build a strong foundation in Mandarin while enjoying the learning process.我的教学资料
