I'm Geri, a native Hebrew speaker from Israel. I'm married + 2, working as a database administrator, love history and nostalgic music, and doing sport in my free time.

I guess that apart of the skills each teacher should have - native speaker, patient, and the ability to be able to explain what he knows; I have a wide knowledge about different levels of the Hebrew language, the history of Israel, the Jewish culture and other aspects of the Hebrew culture (whereas the language is just a part of it).

My duty as a teacher is to adapt myself to the student needs, however the student should be aware to what he wants to get and to do in the lessons: to practice conversation? to understand the Bible? grammar? learn from scratch? This will facilitate us to be more productive.
