I discovered teaching when I was 23 years old and I've been doing it for more than ten years. I've taught in Asia, the Middle East, America, and Europe. I'm in love with the process of giving myself fully to the student and to the world. I've won many teaching awards including Teacher of the Year in an American high school and I've been featured in many training videos around the world. Students love how lively I am in the classroom. My passion is contagious and it creates an electric and dynamic atmosphere. I believe that we should train the mind to go further and learning a new language is a great way to do this. My lessons are communicative, student-centered, interactive, fun, creative, engaging, and relevant to the student. After more than ten years as a teacher, in-person and online, I know I can get the results that students are aiming for. The first step is identifying the student's proficiency level. After that, I look at the learner's strengths and weaknesses, as well as his/her learning style. Once we have that, we discuss the reasons the student is learning. Once we are done with this, we set out a plan and a course of action that will provide results. Many students get to a comfortable level and stop growing. I have developed strategies that will always push the student to the limit.我的教学资料

English InstructorI taught general English to middle and high school students in an after school language academy. I also taught two business English lessons every day to employees of multinational companies, including the nuclear power plant Mohovce.
2010 - 2011
English teacherFor this teaching assignment, I focused on teaching children. I mostly taught elementary school children but also a few middle school children. I improved my skills as an "edutainer" and was able to create engaging, fun, and relevant lessons for my students.
2012 - 2013
English InstructorI conducted lessons to university-level students in Saudi Arabia who were considering studying abroad in English-speaking countries. The focus was highly technical as students would be required to take entrance exams as well as language proficiency exams in English. I was very successful in preparing my students for the IELTS exam.
Because of my professionalism I was also chosen by the university to administer the official IELTS exam at the university.
2014 - 2016
CEO and English TeacherI founded this nonprofit corporation and I conducted English lessons to immigrants and refugees in order to help them integrate into American society. The focus was practical language as my students' needs were based on survival.
2015 - 2016
English, Spanish, French instructorI taught English, Spanish, and French lessons to students of various backgrounds. From private lessons with CEOs and government officials to group lessons for children, I excelled in providing an excellent teaching service which filled the needs of the students and got them the results they were aiming for.
2016 - 2020
Online English TeacherI started teaching on Cambly when I was doing a volunteer project in Peru. I was assessing the English language program of a school which was serving impoverished children. Since I wasn't making any money, I decided to teach online and make some money this way. I've kept a few great students that I enjoy teaching on a regular basis. This experience helped me adapt my teaching style to the virtual world.
2017 - 2018
French Language and Culture TeacherFrom 2017 to 2018, I taught French and headed the French department at O'Connor High School in Texas. There were more than 4,000 students and 250 teachers at the school. I taught all levels and chaired the French club, which was a school organization which had the mission of immersing students in French culture outside of school.
I won the Teacher of the Year award for my school as well as the Foreign Language Teacher of the district.
2019 - 2020
English InstructorFor the past year, I have been conducting lessons, seminars, and workshops to professionals in the Prague business community. I currently hold contracts with institutions in imports/exports, information technology, commercial real estate, publishing, law, energy, marketing, medicine, orchestral music, science, engineering, and consulting.
I also conduct teacher training seminars for local Czech teachers who are teaching English in Czech public schools.
I've been recognized for my efforts.

David Alexander is the best teacher that I've ever met. He's very professional, talented and knowledgeable! After his lesson, I feel more confident in English. We practiced speaking skills a lot and learned new grammar rules. It was interactive, fast-paced and methodical. I can already see some progress. His lessons are exciting and you don't notice how time passes by. I feel very inspired and I've already booked a lot of lessons.

It is my first time in ITALKI, i like the INTRO of Alexander and then i decide to take the first lesson. Now i am going to apply to the program. The programm helps enterpreneurs exchange their experience in business. I am from Russia and if i will pass the applying i will fly to USA maybe in Sillicon Valley to work there for the month. All lesson was about my future video - interview where i must show my english skills. The lesson was cool and pleasant. Speaking with Alexander is very easy for every theme. Now i have more ideas what i will say in my introduction. Thanks for reading this message. :)
