Hi! My name is Michele, but you can call me "Shelly"! I am a native English speaker, and I will make it easy for you to build confidence in speaking English! Together we can share stories, and talk about any subject you like while building up your confidence to use the correct words and pronounce them like a native speaker! I am a Business Analyst for an insurance company and I work with software developers every day. My job is about giving customers a great experience when they buy our products and use our website. I also worked many years in Human Resources, and I can help you with interviewing in English or writing a great resume too!教学经验
I started tutoring adults who have dyslexia. I have been trained in the Barton System that teaches phonetics and helps students learn to read. It takes lots of patience, but I really enjoyed helping them learn. I started tutoring English to non-native speakers about 2 years ago. When the pandemic came to the U.S. in March 2020, I couldn't see my students face to face anymore and that made me very sad. Then I discovered iTalki, so now I help students with their conversation skills online! It's great!我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I use online tools to help you learn to understand English and an American accent. I'll mostly use tools to get you talking so you can have lots of practice. I will correct your grammar mistakes, but also will coach you on the best phrasal verbs and idioms to use when speaking with Americans so that YOU CAN SOUND LIKE A NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER TOO!!!我的教学资料

I loved our first class. Shelly is very kind and warm, loved her laugh, made me feel I was in a secure place since the beginning. I'm kind of an structured person, so I need guiding and materials and a scheme of next steps and I felt that she understood me very well, gave me an overview of what we'll do and explained her way of teaching, which is exactly what I needed.
