I’ve been taking Japanese lessons with Kaori-san for a few months now, and she is a great teacher! Kind, helpful, patient, humorous, and just a sweet person all around. Her lessons can be as structured or as informal as you like, but she always makes sure you get lots of opportunity to practice by speaking. She’s happy to take as much time as you need to answer questions or review things until you’re comfortable, and is very generous with her time outside of class if you have even more questions, which i often do! I look forward to every lesson! かおりさん、ありがとうございます！

Had an amazing lesson with Kaori today. She really makes the lessons enjoyable as we reviewed and reinforced material from previous lessons. She took extra effort to ensure I understood everything before moving on. The role playing was an invaluable exercise allowing me strengthen my Japanese comprehension. She was super patient encouraging me to self correct my errors AND time to process the learning. The best parts of the lesson were when she said "すごい” to some of my Japanese responses. At the conclusion of our lesson, although still very much a beginner, I left feeling confident, motivated, and looking forward to our next lesson.

I had a really fun and engaging lesson with Kaori! Her teaching style makes learning feel natural and enjoyable, and the time went by so quickly. She creates a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to speak without feeling nervous, and I found myself participating more than usual. What I really liked is how she keeps things interesting and interactive rather than just following a textbook. The lesson felt lively, and I stayed focused the entire time. I also appreciated how she explained things clearly while still keeping the pace comfortable.

I've been taking lessons with Kaori-san for many months now and she is always so patient and helpful. I never feel nervous talking to her. Our lessons are always a lot of fun and I'm improving with her help.
