Although AI can compliment your learning, it can't engage with you the way I can, nor correct and guide you whilst having a deep and meaningful conversation together.
Can AI build your confidence like a good teacher can? This is what I provide - as it requires active listening, simultaneously providing accurate feedback.

To reduce the almost-inevitable stress from learning, I try create a relaxed / fun environment, whilst keeping things professional, so regardless of whether we are merely chatting, or having a serious lesson, I am focused on my student enjoying the class and coming away from it with valuable learning having taken place.
I always provide lots of written feedback during and after the lesson, so students can refer to it at any time for their further benefit and self-improvement.

If I had to choose three traits of Patrick that describe him as a teacher, I would go with: diligence, creativity, and flexibility. Diligence, because he is always fully committed to clearly and thoroughly explaining every nuance of the language the student is struggling with. Creativity, because he is not only focused on correcting the student’s mistakes. Instead, he provides a lot of alternative vocabulary with relevant examples. Flexibility, because he is very open-minded and able to adapt to any topic, which is evident from pertinent and thought-provoking questions he often asks. All of the above makes me recommend Patrick to anyone looking for an excellent teacher/mentor.

It is a joy to speak to Patrick every week because he is my friend. In today’s class we covered wide-range of topics. I am so happy that I could tell Patrick about my father who passed away when I was just 13. Apart from our discussion, I really enjoy reading Patrick’s feedback.
