Hey, I’m Linus, 30 years old, from Berlin, and German is my native language. I love languages and also speak English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Esperanto. I’ve been teaching German on italki for 8 years and have spent many years learning languages through immersion, practice, and real conversations. My lessons are adapted to your goals and preferences. We can focus on speaking, grammar, reading, writing, pronunciation, or comprehension. I like lessons to be fun, useful, and challenging, and I can offer clear step-by-step guidance if you prefer more structure. After trying out a great deal of methods and approaches as far as language learning, I started teaching on italki 7 years ago to pass on what I've learned through a lot of experimenting and language immersion. I have now lived in many different countries and each time immersed myself in the language and while this is a good approach, it is not enough on its own and its not a possibility for everyone. However, speaking to native people using video calls is possible for anyone. That's why I am happy to teach my native language on italki and pass on my knowledge. Lessons will be customized individually. Depending on the students preferences, we will practice writing, reading, speaking, comprehension, grammar and much more.
