As a dedicated educator and visual artist, I bring over 15 years of TESOL-certified experience in teaching English, Tagalog, and Hiligaynon to learners across the globe. My ESL journey began in 2007, covering both classroom and online platforms. I joined italki in 2017 and taught actively—with some breaks to focus on my art career and further studies. Now, I’m excited to return. As a native Filipino speaker fluent in English, I understand the challenges of language learning. I’ve worked with diverse learners of all ages, and my teaching style is supportive, creative, and culturally aware—designed to help students gain confidence and express themselves clearly.教学经验
I hold a certification as an ESL teacher, having completed an advanced TESOL program. My teaching expertise extends to English, Tagalog (my national language), and my dialect, Hiligaynon. Understanding my students' purposes and learning goals enables me to mentor more effectively. Clear communication is crucial for setting an efficient language learning method that benefits both the learner and me. I am adaptable to changes, value preparation, and view each lesson as a vital step in the lifelong learning journey toward progress and achieving goals. I'm impressed! Ann's professionalism and support stood out for me. She conducted the majority of the lesson in Ilonggo, and not only did she challenge me, but she also encouraged me to speak in the dialect. I felt like there wasn't any pressure to perfect anything, and she ensured my understanding before moving on. I also enjoyed our conversation.
