One of the many things I appreciate about Helena is the amount of work she does for my lessons. This was an excellent lesson that helped me see more of my consistent errors. Of course, she kindly corrects and helps me get better.

Helena adapts each lesson to the level and interests of the student. She is a person that is easy to talk to and has very interesting topics.

She draws on her impressive knowledge of the elements of Portuguese to thoroughly prepare every lesson, and works purposefully to build up listening, grammatical, written and speaking skills incrementally, which ensures that the complexities and subtleties of the Portuguese language are absorbed. Her lessons are fun and varied, which means I never lost interest and was always challenged. Because of her, my Portuguese has developed a great deal.
