I specialise in teaching IELTS to students who are preparing University Applications only. I read Theology at Hughes Hall at the University of Cambridge and also trained as a teacher at the University and gained a PGCE and QTS. I have a CELTA qualification and taught in China for over 14 years and was an IELTS Examiner for 4 years with the British Council in the Southern China region (based in Shenzhen). My training and experience as an Examiner has given me a profound insight in how to prepare Candidates for all types of Academic Tests and I have helped many Students achieve their desired Test Scores in order to go on and study abroad.

I recommend Mr.Luke to students that want to score a higher score in a academic test, especially in writing.He will help students demonstrate writing skills step by step, building core fundamental vocabulary.Though sometimes he is a bit too serious about students’ mistakes, but it has helped me a lot.Mr.Luke is an absolutely good choice for people who studies English as an second language.As for me, I have realized and corrected most of my grammar mistakes during the study with Mr.Luke .At last I want to say thank you.
