Penny賀佩(Adults Kids)

Penny 老師 is very organized and provides a spreadsheet of all of the things we have learned. She creates opportunities for students to practice speaking what they are learning and also appropriately helps review past items to make sure they aren't forgotten. She is also very smart, she speaks English, Japanese, and Chinese fluently. This allows her to provide perspectives that most other teachers cant.

Today we had a conversation practice! I have to pause now and then to come up with words and expression to form a sentence, but no pressure, Pei laoshi is always very patient and will help you say what you want to say or say it better in different ways!

Penny is a brilliant teacher. I tried out several teachers before choosing Penny to be my Mandarin teacher. She is encouraging, patient and friendly. I am learning a lot and I look forward to many more lessons with her.

Lessons with Penny have really improved my Chinese and I would recommend her highly to any student, especially those who have a good foundation in the language and would like to become more fluent. She is curious and patient, which means that conversations with her are genuine and I get lots of opportunity to talk. She is also super reliable and has a rich background of experience in both mainland China and Taiwan, which gives her a unique perspective.

初回レッスンでとても緊張していましたが、先生がゆっくりはっきり話してくださったので安心して受講できました。 分からない部分はチャットで補足してくださり、とても分かりやすかったです。 授業の最後には復習と総括もしてくださるので、学んだ内容をしっかり整理できるのがとても良いと思いました。

I loved my lesson with Penny. She is friendly and immediately made me feel comfortable to try to speak in Mandarin. She created a safe space where I was not afraid to make mistakes. I will definitely have more lessons with Penny.
