Hello! I’m an Agricultural Engineer by education with a master’s degree in Weed Science. Growing up in different cities across Turkey has given me a multicultural perspective and an adaptable, open mindset.
Curiosity shapes everything I do — it keeps me learning, exploring, and connecting with people. Teaching Turkish is meaningful to me because it allows a genuine exchange: we share language, ideas, and culture while building confidence and clarity together.

I am a patient teacher, especially for beginners, so don’t hesitate to speak even if you’re just starting to learn Turkish! With exercises, we’ll work on pronouncing the unique consonants and vowels that differ from your alphabet.
For intermediate learners, we can practice speaking, read comics, or even translate Turkish songs. There are many enjoyable ways to expand your vocabulary while learning.

If you're brand new to Turkisk and nervous to start, do yourself a favor and choose Merve. She was so patient, slow and obviously has spent many hours teaching. I can't wait for my next lesson 😊
