Jane kids&adults

Due to the unexpected school closures with Covid-19, my children have been learning Chinese with Jane everyday. I can see their improvement and progression. They have been engaged and happy learning with Jane.

Jane is a great teacher, I tried to study Chinese on my own for a while but with my busy life it was hard to do. Jane helps me stay focused and learn far more than I would have on my own.

Jane is an excellent teacher who is very kind and supportive when you speak. I have 3 lessons with her and already I am much more confident speaking Mandarin after being very nervous at first. She is very punctual and reliable and I look forward to more lessons.

Jane is an exceptionally good teacher. Today I had my 9th lesson with her. I tried a number of other professional teachers here on italki, too. These are my thoughts about Jane: professional: - no interruptions (phone calls, doorbell, noise) - uses proper laptop (instead of mobile phone) and good headphones - has good internet connection - has all the resources at hand good teacher: - keeps track of past lessons (so she can easily refer new introduced grammar from earlier lessons) - knows how to adapt to student's very special requirements (for example, she understands that I need her to help me to make flashcards with "weird" word-for-word translations - she's not only able to cope with my requirement easily, she even likes the challenge of it!) - and what I like most: the lessons with Jane are fun and very efficient (we get a lot of stuff done in a short time) I don't write such a review light-heartedly, but I can highly recommend Jane to everybody.

I’ve studied with various Chinese teachers using different methods, and none of them come close to Jane. I really enjoy each of our lessons for several reasons: 1. Conversations flow naturally, and we mostly speak in Chinese, with only occasional words or brief explanations in English now and then. 2. She pays special attention to pronunciation (tones, consonant, vowel or nasal sounds, you name it). 3. When introducing new grammar or vocab, Jane provides clear explanations and plenty of examples. I feel truly thankful and lucky to study with such a professional teacher. 太谢你了，Jane！

There is a reason Jane has so many students, and the proof is in her teaching ability. Her most notable skill is her ability to remember each student's vocabulary and level, effectively communicating while bringing fun and exciting conversations to each class. I love working with Jane because she always prepares for each class and provides ample time for me as a student to ask questions, which helps me develop my speech and comprehension. I've worked with her since the beginning of my learning journey, and we're currently working at an intermediate level. If you're looking for someone to improve your Chinese, look no further!
