Shalom:) My name's Arik and, beyond Hebrew, I'm interested in personal development and combining language learning strategies with emotional and spiritual aspects. That's why I've chosen to teach Hebrew through simplified stories - to bring in the inspirational and emotional element. This way we'll move much faster with your acquisition of Hebrew, reading and conversing. I have about 15 years of experience tutoring English using engaging content and will apply the same strategies here for Hebrew.

I've been teaching English (to Hebrew speakers) for about 15 years, so I've accumulated great strategies to be used during the lessons as well as in your independent learning (which is the most important part.) We'll be applying the same strategies in your Hebrew learning. Those strategies combine reading, listening and speaking, gradually providing you with the needed skills of the language. The idea is that we have a lesson and then you get your homework which becomes the basis for the next lesson. It's a fascinating process and I'll be very happy to share it with you and help you on your journey. We can significantly speed up the language learning process while enjoying it!我提供的课程和我的教学风格
Good communication is the basis of a successful lesson. Understanding my students' needs and clarifying their purposes in learning Hebrew are super important to me. Then we start advancing, keeping those goals in mind. Evaluating your current Hebrew level is also very important, since the strategies differ for different levels. My intention is for you to understand what's really needed in order for you to speak good Hebrew, and then gradually bring those elements into the process of learning. Today, Arik gave useful feedback on a text I had written. He was very kind and encouraging as usual.
We've been trying to have little conversations about the book we've been reading together. I'm not really any good at speaking yet, but as Arik is very patient, I'm sure to improve, אבל לאט לאט. But that's the beautiful thing about learning a new language – it's the journey itself which brings joy to the heart. And to have Arik as a guide on this journey makes it all the more enjoyable.

Arik is an excellent teacher, and he helps me be aware of the correct pronunciation of words and sentences. Also, we've been practicing some speaking. I'm not at all good at it as yet, but since Arik is very patient and never judgmental, I'm sure that's going to improve.
