Hello everyone— I’ve returned to iTalki! My name is Michael, and I’m from the United States. I currently live in Benin (West Africa) where I teach English as the university level. I’m excited to meet you!教学经验
You might be wondering— there are hundreds of English teacher programs on iTalki and other websites, so what makes my lessons any different? In our classes, I focus not only on learning a language, but on HOW to learn a language. We will discuss the specific goals you want to achieve, and I advise you on materials and activities that you can do to learn your language. I teach language through conversation and context in an environment where you are encouraged to make mistakes and learn from them. My language lessons are unique because I train all my students to be self-directed; in other words, you decide what you want to learn, and I act as a coach and a resource. I incorporate a variety of methods and resources, including dialogue construction, multiliteracies, and comprehensible input. As your teacher, I can guide and help motivate you, but ultimately, you are the one who does the practicing. :)我的教学资料
