I am a dedicated online Portuguese teacher with a passion for helping students achieve fluency, whether for travel, business, or personal enrichment. Currently based in Nova Lima, Brazil, I bring a unique perspective to language learning as someone who navigates Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese on a daily basis. My own experiences with language learning—particularly the challenges of distinguishing between similar-sounding words (those tricky cognates!)—help me empathize with students and develop effective teaching strategies. No improvised BLA-BLA-BLA as a lots of inexperienced teachers/ tutors do !
For good results, I used to split an hour in 20 min of chatting, 20 min of reading and interpreting and then 20 min of chatting based on in what we've just read and argued about. That's the right way to give constant increasing .

out of all the languages classes i’ve taken this was by far the most fun i’ve had. was laughing and smiling so much because Daniel made the lesson so enjoyable and encouraged my to speak as much as possible despite my errors. he took notes the whole class which i now can review to make sure it all sticks. really looking forward to booking another lesson ! thank you Daniel !!!
