My lessons with Valentina are always fantastic. She is an amazing teacher - she's extremely passionate about teaching, she makes you feel comfortable and excited about learning. She knows just how much to push you so that you keep learning but don't get frustrated. I always look forward to my lessons with Valentina and would recommend her and her unique (and effective!) teaching methods to anyone!

After 16 lessons, I can attest the soundness of Valentina's method. The use of songs and emphasis on proper pronunciation create a strong link between speaking the language and hearing it. This is a much more effective than other approaches I have tried. (I would urge all of her prospective students to consider using the video tutorials and exercises she has archived online!)

Whatever level you're at and for whatever reason you want to learn Italian, I cannot recommend Valentina highly enough. With her support, I feel that I could live in an area of Italy in which English is not spoken. Before having lessons with Valentina, I could barely speak a word of Italian.
