Hi! I'm Juho, a language enthusiast from Finland. I've been working with languages for over 6 years.
My study background is in Slavic languages and linguistics in Helsinki University,
and in general I love learning and talking about other cultures, countries and traditions.
In my spare time I also like to play music and travel.

As a teacher I'm very detail-oriented and I have a deep understanding of how Finnish works.
I'm always enthusiastic for those moments of realization with my students when they come to understand confusing parts of Finnish.

My teaching style includes various methods, such as free conversation, exercises and textbooks for beginners.
Whenever possible I prefer to make use of spontaneous exercises that suit the needs of the student.
Whether it's beginner courses or speaking practice, I always write down detailed notes on Google Docs, which the student can review at any time.
I specialize in explaining the complexity of Finnish clearly and simply.我的教学资料

Juho is endlessly patient and encouraging. I sometimes feel like the slowest learner in the history of time, but I never feel unduly judged or rushed. He consistently comes up with ways to help me develop and polish my Finnish.

Juho teaches me colloquial language, which is widely spoken rather than standard. Which makes lessons much valuable, considering the fact that it's almost impossible to find any courses apart from kirjakieli ones on the internet
