🌎 CELTA-certified English teacher with 9+ years of experience, specializing in adult learners. I’ve taught 13,000+ online lessons and also in classrooms in China and South Korea, helping my students achieve fluency through personalized, goal-oriented methods.
My background in science, travel, and writing lets me tailor lessons to your interests, whether it’s IELTS prep, technical vocabulary, or casual conversation.
Currently based in Thailand (but unable to accept Thai residents due to visa rules—sorry!).

I like to set long-term and short-term goals. These help you keep track of your progress and make it easier to reach your desired skills. If you’re unsure of your goals, I can help you establish them. They can be as small or big as you'd like. If your goals change, let me know!
In class, some people excel by playing games in their target language or role-playing, but others don't. I want to do what works best for you.
For all learners, I want you to participate and use English as much as possible, but I will always help you when you need help. I can provide prompts or sentence frames, depending on your level. I also take notes to give you feedback and help you improve.我的教学资料

During the lessons, Julie suggests additional vocabulary ranging from the most colloquial to the most formal terms. This approach allows you not only to improve your command of the language but also to broaden your cultural knowledge in an authentic way.

I've been taking classes with her for a while. Julie always suggests interesting topics to discuss. She explains the word whether they are formal or commonly used in daily conversation. She always makes necessary corrections and suggests more appropriate words. She suggests useful resources as well.

Me ha encantado tener clase con esta profesora. Es muy cercana, dinámica y crea un ambiente cómodo donde es fácil participar y mejorar. Utiliza materiales muy variados que me han ayudado mucho, como vídeos, hojas de vocabulario y actividades interactivas. En cada clase se practica mucho el vocabulario y siempre está abierta a hablar de cualquier tema que surja, lo que hace que las clases sean muy naturales y útiles. Además, corrige con mucho detalle tanto la pronunciación como los errores gramaticales, lo cual valoro muchísimo. La recomiendo sin ninguna duda.
