I’m a TEFL-certified English language instructor, having completed my certification at the University of Toronto in 2018. As a certified CELPIP instructor, for ten years I've coached students in CELPIP and IELTS success for immigration to Canada. I’ve also worked as a professional proofreader and am an experienced writing coach. My first love is literature, and I’m especially interested in contemporary Canadian and American poetry, and avant-garde and experimental writing. A proud franco-Ontarian, I’m happy to discuss all aspects of Canadian culture and life. Welcome to my profile! I hope to see you in the online classroom soon.
My expertise is in supporting new immigrants to Canada in developing their English communication skills. My lessons include coaching on proposals and email communications, presentations and job interviews.

She’s very attentive to details and always gives helpful tips on pronunciation, grammar, and sentence structure.

Jessica is definitely the most professional teacher that I’ve ever met.
