I enjoy the classes a lot as Woncheol always picks out interesting topics and I feel that they are a really good opportunity to improve my speaking abilities!

Lessons are well structured and include a mix of Q&A style conversation, review of the last lesson and new material each time. Questions can be asked at any point and answered thoroughly. I am very happy with the lessons and the progress I've made through them so far :)

I've been learning from Woncheol for 5 years — and the fact that I keep coming back says everything. He transformed me from someone who could barely string a sentence together into someone holding deep, meaningful conversations with ease. That kind of progress doesn't happen by accident — it happens because of a teacher who genuinely pays attention and meets you exactly where you are. His lesson structure is well designed: we kick off with free talk to warm up my speaking, then dive into grammar and reading — all within 30 minutes. The ground he covers in half an hour is honestly remarkable. What really sets Woncheol apart is his thoroughness. Great examples in class, plus additional ones sent after the lesson to make sure everything sticks. That level of dedication is rare. If you're serious about Korean, Woncheol is the real deal. Wonchul is a great teacher. He comes prepared to class. In a half hour class I have enough vocabulary and material to work on for a week. His English is perfect. He has a good feel for when to let me productively struggle and when to jump in and lend help. He has a lot of empathy I guess because he has been a language learner himself. He understands that he might be wrong sometimes (rarely, but it happens) and has gone out of his way to correct himself with good humor. Also, he’s very flexible. He understands that the platform has its quirks and is easily able to make things work, even on the fly. I recommend Wonchul highly.
