When I started taking Portuguese lessons with Thaís the goal was to have deeper conversations, not just get by. Since day one 99% of our lessons have been in Portuguese, and it's never felt like hard work. She meets you at your level and can go anywhere in conversation: theatre, grief, the chaotic life of an artist, conservation NGOs in the Amazon. She's light-hearted, with a genuinely open soul.
