Italian teacher, blogger and podcaster. Founder of the project Ilazed, the website with plenty of explanations and free resources
I am Ilaria. I am an Italian native speaker, and I started teaching Italian to foreigners as a full-time job in 2017.
I have built my entire career around the Italian language, and today I run a blog (written in Italian and English) and several podcasts in which I talk about the Italian language (grammar, explanations, and tips for learning this language) and the Italian culture.
I love my job, and it allows me to meet interesting people from around the world.

My teaching method is focused on the students, and during the first lesson, I ask my students why they want to learn Italian and the goals they want to reach.
At the beginning of each lesson, I'll ask the students if they have any questions from the previous classes or about something they have listened to or seen; only after that we'll start the new lesson!

Ilaria is such a nice person, you can talk with her about literally ANYTHING! She knows a lot about italian culture and history and manages to explain even complicated grammar in an easy way.
Oh and also, she constantly(!!!) makes you feel awesome about your Italian, which is very motivating :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my lesson my Ilaria. She has a wonderful way of teaching concepts that might seem complicated, breaking them down into easy and clear format. My conversations with Ilaria are really helping me improve my Italian! I like the conversational approach better because I'm living now in Italy and need immediate help with everyday conversations. Very engaging and helpful instructor, with a superior knowledge of grammar. Has the capacity to explain in clear terms how to improve communicating in Italian, and is very good at picking up on the little details that helps a person be more clearly understood by a native speaker of Italian.

Thank you for another super lesson!Lessons with Ilaria are always time well invested. Even though I'm at an advanced level, I gain a lot from every lesson. Ilaria corrects all mistakes, which makes me feel more confident speaking Italian each time. I also really appreciate that she answers all my questions and doubts with patience and enthusiasm. Talking with Ilaria feels like chatting with a friend over coffee, which makes her lessons a wonderful combination of studying and pleasure.
