Tarntawan

I stopped taking lessons for about 2 months due to work. Kruu has been very kind to help me revise what I have forgotten. I actually miss having lessons with Kruu because I always learn a lot during lessons and by not having lessons makes me feel that my progress has slowed down. Today's lesson was awesome. Again, kruu will train my listening. She'll then give me opportunities to use the language. Then she'll provide interesting quotes or short passage to get me to read. It seems a lot of work in a lesson but time just passes by very quickly as it's always fun and productive! I am already slowly able to form short complete sentences. Yay!

I've taken at least 20 lessons with Kru Tarntawan over the last 2 and a half months, and I've really enjoyed her teaching. I have gone from zero to being able to form sentences, speaking sentences, responding to small talk, and being able to understand shorter spoken sentences too. There is a good variety of vocabulary and grammar that I've learned, as well as cultural topics and current news. I am looking forward to continuing my lessons with Kru Tarntawan!

Ms. Tarntawan is an amazing and very effective teacher that really cares about her students. During our teaching sessions she’s very patient, listens carefully, provides plenty of verbal and written examples. She makes sure that I’m pronouncing the Thai words and sentences using the correct tone, speed and smoothness to make sure it sounds natural and correct. I love her personality and fun attitude towards teaching. She also has a great sense of humor which really helps with the learning process. I highly recommend her as a wonderful Thai teacher.

I had my first lesson with Kru Tarntawan. I can already speak Thai, but I needed a refresher. After our first meeting, Kru Tarntawan was very transparent and open about her teaching style, which really matched how I like to learn languages. In our lesson I spoke a lot about myself, and she took notes while explaining the words I was unfamiliar with, as well as how I can best use them in conversation and writing. She is very kind and encouraging, and I’m excited to continue learning Thai with her. Thank you, ka!

Finished my first lesson with Kru Tarntawan and she was very informative and encouraging. She really emphasizes getting the tones correct and practicing speaking as much as possible. I'm excited to keep taking lessons with her
