Hi English learners! My name is Brandon and I live in the Washington DC area. After previously not knowing any language besides English, at 32, in 2021, I decided to commit to learning Portuguese. The experience since then has been extremely fulfilling. It's allowed me to make connections, helped my confidence and improved my understanding of an outside culture. I truly believe if you can build small wins with your English consistently you too, will have similar benefits. In my free time I like to read, discuss U.S. political issues, watch movies/series, watch sports, exercise and travel.教学经验
From doing over 100 hours on italki and talking with 25 + professors as a student within the last year, I have a solid understanding of what I expect in a teacher. I will attempt to ensure you speak the majority of the lesson. During this time, I will carefully monitor your mistakes and give you the necessary feedback to improve. If you're looking to speak with a Native English speaker and improve your intermediate/advanced English. I can help you! And don't worry! You will be speaking the majority of the time! Among the topics we can discuss:
- Your country's culture (education, healthcare, holidays, stereotypes, weddings, etc.)
- Personal interests, goals, and experiences
- Travel (value, places, accommodation, etc.)
- Opinions on social policies & current events
- Social media/technology
- Your day
- Or whatever you would like!

He is very nice and time flies because he brings up interesting topics. I enjoyed very much the class and I really recommend him for those of you who which to improve their conversation skills (I only had a conversation class).
