Nacida en Bogotá y con experiencia enseñando en EE.UU., me especializo en ayudar *estudiantes adultos* a construir confianza desde el nivel básico hasta la fluidez. Mis alumnos descubren el español a través de sus intereses—viajes, tecnología, cultura—y logran conversaciones auténticas rápidamente.

I am Diana, and welcome to this fantastic adventure of learning Spanish. Like you, I love languages and look forward to teaching and guiding you through this process. During lessons, my main approach is to focus on natural conversations, grammar practice, and writing using varied teaching material to ease the learning process. I firmly believe that building up an individual plan based on your goals, expectations, and interests will help to increase vocabulary, fluency, and confidence.

The best way to learn a language is speaking, for that reason, I encourage my students to talk during the lessons, and please do not feel afraid of making mistakes, I see them as the BEST process to correct and build up your vocabulary and confidence!
Durante nuestras clases, en lo más posible conversaremos acerca de los temas en los que te sientas más comodo, y asi mismo proponerte nuevos temas para que incrementes principalmente el vocabulario, que considero que es el más importante para tener una conversación mucho más fluida. Diana is a great teacher. She finds articles and videos for me to look at before the lessons and asks questions to get me talking. In the first class she asked if I want my mistakes corrected and I said yes. So she does correct my mistakes, or at least some of them, but then says "No te preocupes" if I get annoyed at myself. She takes the stress out of speaking in another language and thanks me profusely at the end of the class. Also, if you are looking for someone who speaks good English, her English is good. She really should raise her prices.

Diana was very well prepared as always! I really appreciate the teaching lessons with her! She’s very professional and has a good instinct what learning strategy works for the student. She keeps my motivation level very high and empowers me to keep going! I wanna highlight her patience and her flexibility again. I’m so glad to find her here as a tutor. I really appreciate her time and effort for me. Besides she is very kind, humorous and understanding which just reflects the great person that she really is.
